Recessed spotlights offer seamless integration into the ceiling, while surface-mounted spotlights are easier to install. You can choose from different color temperatures, ranging from warm white to cool white, and some spotlights are dimmable for flexibility in light levels. Tiltable spotlights allow you to direct the light exactly where it is needed, while waterproof spotlights are suitable for use outdoors or in damp areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Dimensions
Finally, you determine the desired shape, size and glazing of the skylight. When it comes to skylights, multiple dimensions are often discussed, such as: day size, (roof) opening size and outside size. The daylight size is the order size of a skylight. Management
You can also choose the color clear glass, opal glass or sun-resistant glass. You cannot see through opal, but a lot of light comes in.
The color of the skylight determines the transparency of the skylight. A crystal clear version is completely transparent.
An opal skylight still lets in a lot of light, but is not transparent. Depending on the project, it is important to determine what the wishes are. An opal skylight offers more privacy and lets in less bright light. For more light and the ability to see through it, a crystal clear skylight is better.

Trilux waterproof fixtures / high protection class
The slope of your flat roof must be at least 2°, so that excess water can drain away.
In the absence of a slope, puddles form, which increases the risk of deformation and dirt accumulation and the stagnant rainwater increases the pressure on your skylight. For new-build houses, the standard slope is 2°. If you have an older home that does not meet this slope value, you can solve this, for example, by creating a slope with insulation material.
