Performances
There are an abundance of choices when it comes to light lines. These come in various versions, including continuous and interrupted variants, each with its own specific applications. Materials such as steel and aluminum not only provide structural strength but also contribute to the aesthetic aspect of the lighting, making them suitable for a variety of environments, from industrial halls to modern offices.
In addition, different lens optics and lighting technical specifications make it possible to adapt the lighting to the unique needs and desired atmosphere of each room.
For flexibility and adaptability, light lines can be hung in different ways. For example, suspended installations offer the option of height adjustment and can be used in rooms with varying ceiling heights. For example, threaded rods or mounting brackets can be used for a sturdy and permanent attachment to different ceiling types, such as roof panels, concrete or wood.
Dimensions
The light lines consist of carrying rails of different lengths, varying from, for example, 2, 3 or 4 meters, depending on the brand and type. At the bottom of the carrier rail, users can choose to place an LED module or use a blanking plate.
For example, if you use 10 supporting rails of 3 meters each for a total length of 30 meters, these provide 20 mounting surfaces of 1.5 meters. Connecting the rails is simple and a power supply is only required at one point per light line, eliminating the need to run tens of meters of cables. Continuous light lines have no interruptions, which ensures a seamless lighting experience.
Example dimensions:
- Carrier rail lengths: 1.5 – 3 or 4 meters
- Total length: 30 meters (for example 10 rails of 3 meters)
Management
Light lines not only offer advanced lighting options, but can also be controlled by a range of modern technologies. Sensors can be integrated to control lighting based on movement, daylight levels or other environmental factors, resulting in more efficient energy use and improved comfort.
Moreover, it is possible to seamlessly integrate emergency lighting into light lines, so that they not only serve as regular lighting, but also as a safety device during emergency situations.
Advanced control options, such as 0/1-10V or DALI devices, provide precise control of light levels for specific needs. The light lines can also be equipped with wireless mesh technology, creating a seamless wireless network for communication and control between fixtures and sensors, which also saves a lot of wiring.
